🏯Introduction: Hangu Pass, a national 4A tourist attraction, is located in Sanmenxia City, Henan Province. The pass is located in the west of the plateau, east of the cliff, south of the Qinling Mountains, and north of the Yellow River. It is located on the "Ancient Road of Two Capitals" and close to the Yellow River. The pass is in the valley, deep and dangerous like a box, so it is called Hangu Pass. It is the earliest fortress in Chinese history. There are three Hangu Passes in history: Qin Pass, Han Pass, and Wei Pass (submerged when the Sanmenxia Dam was built). Hangu Pass is the spiritual valley of the great ancient Chinese thinker and philosopher Laozi's masterpiece "Tao Te Ching", the birthplace of Taoist culture, the throat of the ancient road from Chang'an to Luoyang, and a strategic fortress that has been a battleground for thousands of years.
