Hangu Pass

The most worthwhile sight at Hangu Pass is this Hangu road. It runs along the Yellow River towards Tongguan (an important pass after the Sui and Tang dynasties), leading to the fertile Guanzhong Plain.
Looking at this straight road, it is roughly two lanes wide, with about 20 kilometers of such road surface currently, while the rest is still dirt roads or small paths. Whether it can reach Tongguan, 60 kilometers away, is unknown. Unfortunately, after seeing a few explanations, the guides took the tourists to the pass tower, and this road leading to Hangu was neither visited, explained, nor introduced.
