🏨 Accommodation
I recommend staying near Qingshui Bay, it’s convenient to get to any attractions, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk to Qingshui Bay Beach.
🚗 Transportation
Sichuan - Haikou Meilan Airport - Lingshui High-Speed Rail Station

🌴 Great places to take the kids
✔️ R&F Ocean Happy World
Definitely the most fun attraction in Lingshui this trip. You can take photos with the beluga whales, and there are many kid-friendly activities. The kids were very excited—feeding penguins, belugas, dolphins, sea turtles, and watching various shows and fireworks. Don’t miss any of it.
✔️ Qingshui Bay Freedom Lighthouse
The beach is clean for playing in the water and sand. It features the same lighthouse as in the movie "She Disappeared." The murals on the road around the lighthouse are very unique and great for photos. You can also take a small train ride around the lighthouse (10 RMB/person).
✔️ Monkey Island + Daidai Island
Outdoor fun with monkeys. I recommend taking the cable car 🚠 to the island, which offers a panoramic view of the entire beach, crossing mountains and sea—an amazing experience 💯 (not for those afraid of heights). The monkeys on the island are very friendly and may snatch food, so be careful.
✔️ Fenjiezhou Island
Not suitable for very young kids. You can enjoy water activities, feed manta rays and sea turtles. You need to take a sightseeing bus on the island. The sea views are truly beautiful.
✔️ Dragon Fruit Farm
I suggest going at 7 PM when it’s cooler to pick dragon fruits and see the whole sea of lights.
✔️ Lotte Gui Xin Ju
Large land turtles and other animals you can feed and take photos with. More fun than a zoo.
🦀️ Beachcombing
Xiaochiling, Xincun, Gangmenling, Huling. Not recommended if your child is very young!! (Detailed guides available on 🍠)
🍴 Food
☑️ Qingshui Bay Food Street: Dadad’s coconut chicken, Taiqiong fermented pomace vinegar, Hupo herb duck (chain stores with great service)
☑️ Xincun Night Market: Various Hainan snacks, very cheap 💰, definitely worth a visit.
