The first stop in Linyi, you must visit the Linyi Museum.
Located in the new pavilion in Nanfang New District, it is not very large, and you can finish the tour in about 2 hours. There are free guided tours at 2 pm and 3 pm on rest days, which are very informative. Just follow along at the right time.
The most famous history of Linyi is the Langya period during the Han Dynasty, which is also displayed in the museum. The museum, as a first-class institution, has a separate exhibit for Linyi's jade burial suit with gold thread, which is different from other discovered suits in that it only includes the head, hands, and feet.
On rest days, there are many children and it can be quite noisy. If possible, it is recommended to visit on a weekday.
