Spring only | Tulip fields at Keukenhof

Keukenhof in the Netherlands🌷, known as the most beautiful spring garden in the world, is only open from mid-March to mid-May when the tulips bloom.

I went right at the opening time, so most of the tulips were cut or had already bloomed. 🥹
I've heard that if you go too early, there are only buds, so it might be best to go in April.
Even if you go late, there are plenty of other flowers in bloom, so you can definitely enjoy it even without tulips!

There is a Miffy shop, as is typical of the Netherlands.
There is also a windmill that seems to be for photo shoots.
The souvenir shop has a bouquet of wooden tulips. 💐
This is a nice souvenir to bring back to Japan.

The main way to get there is by bus from various places.
There are also days when buses depart from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, so depending on the flight, you might be able to plan to leave as soon as you arrive.

💰Tickets: 20€ for adults
You can buy them online from the official website.
There are combination tickets with public transport (bus),
and from Amsterdam it costs about 35€.
