🇬🇧Day Trip to Liverpool, England by Train #1

#TravelItinerary

#Liverpool, a day trip from Manchester! Less than an hour away by train, it's a great place to visit without any hassle. The streets are actually much cleaner than Manchester, and with the sea view, the people seemed happier and more vibrant. I saw quite a few friends who lived and studied in Liverpool, not Manchester. Since I wasn't going to school every day anyway, I thought it was a good choice. (I was a little envious, though. 😗?)

Seaside cities have a unique sensibility... The sunlight is so intense that even everyday photos look like a photoshoot.

Across from the train station, there's a vast plaza filled with event halls and art galleries. The Walker Art Gallery is visible in the photo, but it was temporarily closed at the time... I don't know why 🥺

The building in the distance is St. George's Hall! It's a large hall where various events are held. I heard there's a cafe inside, so I guess it'd be worth a visit. Why haven't I been there before...🤨?

📍St John's Gardens
Located right behind the hall, St John's Gardens was larger than I expected and a great place for a leisurely stroll. It's even prettier in spring when the flowers are in bloom. 💕
Liverpool seagulls fly all the way to the city park. 😂 But why are they so handsome…?! So manly…

📍The Bluecoat
The Bluecoat is an art center specializing in contemporary art. It features sections on Liverpool's history and innovative art exhibitions.

The exhibition they were having seemed to be themed around dining. It felt like dining with people with photos hanging on the wall, with different cutlery spread out on the dining table. It felt like I was dining with them.
Pretty everyday objects are not overlooked, but captured in photographs and displayed together, creating a work of art. :)
You'll often see exhibitions where you can listen to audio messages.

There's a great spot to just sit and stare blankly in the cafe. The high arched windows, the garden view, and the cute semicircular tables... I want to make something like this in my house.
The gardens are so beautiful… It was just a #photozone🫶🏻

Exiting leads to the city center!
