So far, this is my absolute favorite hidden gem town!!

#discoverchina
If we’re talking about hidden gems near Nanjing, and you asked me to recommend one spot to escape the hustle of the city—I’d blurt it out without hesitation: Liyang!

Imagine:
Natural bamboo forests with the sound of the wind brushing through,
Gentle streamside murmurs by the river,
Everything moving slowly, inviting you to close your eyes and just be—even lie down for half a day and let time pass.
How to Get to Liyang from Nanjing
By Train: Only 26 minutes from Nanjing to Liyang!
By Car: About 1.5 hours drive.

Liyang 2-Day Itinerary
