Loboc River, Bohol

🏞️ When planning our itinerary and activities in the Philippines, there was one place I knew we absolutely had to visit!

The Loboc River on Bohol Island turned out to be one of the most unforgettable highlights of this trip.

This pristine, deep emerald-colored river surrounded by wild jungles left us completely amazed! You can admire it from the shore, but there are several ways to explore the river itself:

🚢 Cruises on large boats

🚣♀️ Private boat with a driver

🛶 Paddleboards and canoes

We rented a boat, and the cost for a 40-minute ride was 1,200 pesos. I'm sharing the rental location on the map. There's a funny guy working there 😄 When we asked if there were crocodiles in the river, he said (literal translation): "Well, kind of, but they're at work right now (on the other side—pointing towards the sea), so you don't need to worry🤣"

ok 👌

Tip: It's best to arrive early in the morning to enjoy the beauty and tranquility, as the large boat cruises start at 11 a.m.
