The cobblestone streets, old-fashioned stalls, and industrial-style market halls give it a unique charm that blends history with modern food culture.

Borough Market offers a huge variety of food options, from local British produce to global street food. Some must-try highlights include:

Pieminster - Great-tasting meat pies and vegetarian pies, perfect as a side dish.
Kappacasein Dairy – Famous for its oozing grilled cheese sandwiches.
Bread Ahead – Legendary filled doughnuts and fresh-baked bread.
Hobbs Meat Roast – Their roast pork sandwich with crackling is a must.
Mei Mei - Chinese street food from Southeast Asia such as chicken rice.

I also tried other dishes such as salt beef sandwich, as well as some tasty ice-cream for dessert.

***I strongly recommend the chocolate-covered fresh strawberries (pictures 3 and 4), which was super fresh and sweet, and the owner even gives out free samples to try.

- While some stalls can be pricey, the quality is top-notch, and there are plenty of affordable street food options. The traders are friendly and knowledgeable, often giving FREE SAMPLES and recommendations.
