Where Time Stands Still: Tower of London

I’ve always read about the Tower of London in history books—but being there in person was surreal. From its stone towers to the wide moat and impressive gates, it was like stepping into a medieval storybook. The entrance even had a little shop front that hinted at the tales behind those fortress walls.

The crowds were lively, but it still felt solemn in parts, knowing the stories that echo through these halls. And just steps away? Tower Bridge—complete with Olympic rings hanging underneath during my visit. London truly weaves old and new together beautifully.
