October at the Longji Terraces

Morning mist is the first breath of the Longji Terraces. As the sky is still covered with a thin layer of gray, the clouds and mist spill out from the valley, like crushed cotton wool clinging between the terraces. The grass on the ridges is still covered with dew, and the mountain streams after the rain joyfully flow between the ridges, mixed with the distant crowing of roosters from the village.
