Take a leisurely walk or hike through the forest trails, enjoy bird watching, explore the tranquil environment, or have a picnic by the scenic lakeside.

Nanjing Pingshan Forest Park is located in the hilly northern part of Liuhe District, Nanjing. It stretches across 2,213 hectares, bounded by Babaiqiao Town to the east, Ma'an Town to the south, National Highway 205 and Maji Town to the west, and Yeshan Town to the north. With over 85% forest coverage and convenient transportation, the park boasts a distinct locational advantage.
It is no exaggeration to describe the mountains and waters in Pingshan as "water in the mountains, mountains in the water, and depressions in the depressions". There are seven mountains and eight lakes here, and the mountains are connected to the lakes. The mountains are covered with green vegetation, and ten thousand acres of pine forests surround the tea garden. There is also a jasmine garden next to the tea garden. You can climb mountains, play in the water, taste tea, appreciate flowers, listen to the sound of pine waves, and sleep in a natural oxygen bar.
From June 15 to September 5, 2013, the modern military war film "Wolf Warrior," starring Wu Jing, Yu Nan, and Scott Adkins, used Pingshan Forest Park as a primary filming location. The film was released nationwide on April 2, 2015.
The park boasts a subtropical monsoon climate, covering a total area of approximately 22 square kilometers. The highest peak in the forest reaches 161 meters above sea level. Over 85% of the park is covered by evergreen coniferous forests, primarily native to the region, including pine, chestnut, fir, and tea. In recent years, dozens of renowned trees and flowers, including ginkgo, Dalbergia, Eucommia, and jasmine, have been introduced, making it a perfect spring destination.
The area is rich in forestry resources, with approximately 22 square kilometers of mountain pine, mixed forest, secondary forest, tea plantations, bamboo forests, Eucommia ulmoides, Ginkgo biloba, and other economic fruit trees. It is also home to numerous nationally protected animals such as musk deer, pheasants, egrets, hedgehogs, and wild foxes.
It is recommended to play for 3 hours.
