The Nanshan Great Buddha, also known as the Sakyamuni Buddha Statue, is located in the Nanshan Tourist Area of Longkou City, Yantai, Shandong Province. Standing at 38.66 meters tall and weighing 380 tons, this statue is the world's first large seated Buddha cast in tin-bronze. Composed of 232 body parts, 108 lotus petals, and 302 hair buns—totaling 642 tin-bronze castings—it holds the distinction of being the largest of its kind in the world.
