Yuandi Village is more than 30 kilometers away from Longquan City. The ancient buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasties here currently preserve 36 ancient houses with a construction area of 27,370 square meters. The original appearance has been preserved at a rate of 90%. Among them, four ancient houses such as the Xu Clan Ancestral Hall have a preservation rate of 95%. It has extremely high academic value for the study of mountainous rural architecture in Zhejiang and Fujian during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
This is a small village with no commercialization at all. Everything remains simple and natural, and the villagers are basically inhabited by elderly people.
