The Longji Rice Terraces are being irrigated! If you miss it, you'll have to wait another year!

Here's a guide to a day trip to the Longji Rice Terraces in Guilin.
If you only have one day to visit Longji, I recommend going to Dazhai in Jinkeng.
👉🏻Here, you'll find the largest rice terraces, which are layered like steps to the sky.
There is also a cable car 🚠 to go up and down the mountain, which saves you time climbing and allows you to overlook the scenery of the rice terraces.

☀Morning: Guilin → Longji Rice Terraces → Huangluo Yao Village
At around 9am, take a car from Guilin to the entrance of the Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area. It takes about 2 hours on the national highway. After picking up your tickets, continue by car for 20 minutes to Huangluo Yao Village, and check in at the "World's First Village of Long Hair". You can have lunch here.

🌤Afternoon: Jinkeng Dazhai → Jinfo Peak Viewing Platform → Guilin
From Huangluo Yao Village, it takes about 25 minutes by car to reach Jinkeng Dazhai. There are 2 ways to get up the mountain:
1️⃣Hiking 👩‍🦯: About 1.5 hours
2️⃣Cable car 🚠: CNY 55/person for a one-way trip, CNY 100/person for a round trip
When you reach the Jinfo Peak Viewing Platform on the top of the mountain, the view of the rice terraces is amazing. There are many small shops renting Longji ethnic minority costumes. If you are interested, you can also rent one to take photos and check in 📸

It is best to only visit one of the two villages, Jinkeng and Ping'an, in Longji in one day. If you are going to Ping'an Village, there are also 2 ways to get up the mountain after arriving at the parking lot ‼️
1️⃣Hiking: You can first go to Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon → Nine Dragons and Five Tigers (if you are tired, you can take a sightseeing bus down the mountain)
2️⃣Sightseeing bus: Direct to Nine Dragons and Five Tigers, CNY 30/person for a one-way trip, CNY 50/person for a round trip
Ps:
Ping'an Zhuang Village is more suitable for hiking enthusiasts.

2️⃣Bus: At the entrance of the Longji Scenic Area, you need to change to a scenic area bus
