Liuzhou Luzhai Guangxi Altay, no filters, no disappointments!

One week rushing through Guangxi! Driving from Hangzhou, flying directly to Guilin and heading south, the most stunning place for me was the lesser-known secret spot Luzhai in Liuzhou 🏞️

🚗 Highlights of the self-driving route
Fly direct from Hangzhou to Guilin → Longji Terraces → Yangshuo → Guilin → Liuzhou → Nandan → Tian'e → Return from Nanning
The biggest surprise of the whole trip was Luzhai in Liuzhou, less crowded and more beautiful than Yangshuo, every photo looks like a masterpiece!

🌟 Must-visit attractions
1️⃣ Xiangqiao Karst National Geopark
The karst landscape is breathtaking! Comfortable shoes are recommended as there is quite a bit of walking inside the park. Address: Zhongdu Town, Luzhai County, Liuzhou City

2️⃣ Luzhai Zhongdu Ancient Town
A well-preserved Lingnan-style ancient town with minimal commercialization. The feeling of small bridges and flowing water is charming; recommended to visit at dusk for atmospheric photos~

3️⃣ Eagle Mountain Scenic Area
The best viewpoint for a 360-degree panoramic view of Luzhai! The hiking trail is easy; recommended to go in the morning to avoid the sun. Address: Luzhai County, Liuzhou City

A masterpiece of nature! The huge natural stone bridge is spectacular, wearing light-colored clothes makes photos especially stunning~ Address: Luzhai County, Liuzhou City

🍜 Food recommendations
You must try Liuzhou Luosifen! Luzhai has fewer people and more authentic shops. Recommended "Zhongdu Old Street Rice Noodles," the broth is especially fresh. Address: Inside the old street of Zhongdu Ancient Town

1. It takes about 1 hour to drive from Liuzhou to Luzhai
2. It is recommended to stay in Luzhai County town, where accommodation is cheap and clean
3. The attractions are close to each other, so you can take your time exploring
4. Be sure to apply sunscreen! The sun in Guangxi is very strong
