Day 13: Los Angeles | Stepping into a Video Game World 🌆🎮
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the epic video game "Grand Theft Auto V (GTA5)." The game's highly customizable fictional city, "Los Santos," was modeled after Los Angeles. When I set foot in this cinematic city, I actually felt like I'd stepped right into the game—the streets, the buildings, even the sunset shadows along the roadside—all felt so familiar.
📍 Morning: The Getty Center
This world-class art institution, considered one of the top three museums in the world, boasts a rich collection of American and European paintings, sculptures, and artwork from the 16th to 18th centuries. Take the cable car up from the base of the mountain for breathtaking views of Los Angeles on clear days.
📍 Afternoon: Santa Monica Pier
A classic LA landmark, it's also the end of the legendary Route 66! Home to a seaside playground, food stalls, and street performers, this spot is a must-see for tourists. Walking in the ocean breeze, every scene feels like a movie set.
📍 Apple Store & Oakley Flagship Store Tour 🍎🕶️
We stopped by the Apple store to see the newly released iPhone 15 series. This year's titanium material is truly exquisite, a true "dishwasher" (good review)! My personal recommendation is the blue iPhone 15 Plus. The texture of the tinted glass is captivating, and paired with a clear case, it's incredibly recognizable. The performance strikes the perfect balance between cutting-edge and practical.

The subway and bus network is extensive, with free transfers within two hours. Add a TAP card to your Apple Wallet and save $2. My entire day's transportation cost only USD$3.50! I almost spent NT$1,500 on a double-decker bus ticket on a travel platform, but thankfully I did my research and saved a pretty penny!
