Located in Qiliping Village, Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, it sits at the northern foot of the Funiu Mountains. It is the main peak of the 800-li Funiu Mountains and part of the Funiu Mountain World Geopark. It covers a total area of 26.66 square kilometers and has an altitude of 2,200 meters.
🏝️Reservation Guide
Ticket Reservations - Online: Follow the official WeChat account of Laojun Mountain Scenic Area "老君山风景名胜区." Click [Ticket Purchase] in the menu bar, select [Ticket Reservation], and fill in the required information as prompted, such as name, ID number, and mobile phone number. Select the reservation date and number of tickets, and confirm payment to complete the reservation. Online reservations can help you avoid queuing at the ticket office and save time. - Offline: Purchase tickets directly with your ID at the ticket window. However, during peak seasons or holidays, offline ticket purchases may require long queues.
🚗Transportation: If you choose to take the high-speed train, you can go to Luoyang Longmen Station. The bus station is next to it. Then, take a minibus from Luoyang to Luanchuan. It takes about two hours to reach the Laojun Mountain ticket center. If you are driving, you can navigate directly to "Laojun Mountain Scenic Area" or "Yunjing Ropeway."

🍀Ropeway Service Hours
1. The ropeway usually operates from 7:30 to 16:00 (specific times may vary depending on the season and weather). The upward ropeway will stop operating after 16:00. It is recommended that visitors plan their itinerary in advance and allow sufficient time.
🍀Visiting Time and Routes
1. The daytime hiking hours at Laojun Mountain are usually from 6:30 to 15:30. Night climbing (if open) is from 22:30 to 23:00 (night climbing reservations must be made before 8:00 am daily, and pay attention to the weather forecast). 2. Visitors can choose a suitable route based on their own situation. There are different recommended routes for visitors entering the park before 10:00 am and after 10:00 am.
