Southeast Asia's hidden gem

Among southeast Asia, Vietnam and Thailand are among the most celebrated destinations to visit. But Luang prabang is still among the unpopular destinations. Due to the geography of the town, it can be one of the best choices to visit during the summer season. This small beautiful city has a lot to offer. Starting from breathtaking mountain views to turquoise waterfalls, everything is just amazing. Leaving the chaotic streets of big cities, I enjoyed the peaceful environment of this UNESCO world heritage site. The Mekong and Namkhan rivers, make this town a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the river cruises.

The historical street is the perfect place to stay as it has a plethora of accomodations starting from budget hostels to 5 star accomodations. Most of the tourist spots are situated in this street and can be visited by walking from one place to another. But mostly tourist enjoy their time by renting the scooters.

The morning and night markets provide the best opportunity to experience local and fresh food.

The night market in Luang prabang is a perfect place to enjoy a variety of cuisines from different corners of the world at a very affordable price.

The town is well connected to other places by train, bus, boat cruises and air.
