Enjoy the Mekong River scenery on a cruise in Thailand🛶

#Bangkok Attractions

This time I took an Orange Flag boat river cruise to experience Bangkok's water scene. It was so simple and convenient. After buying the flight ticket, you only need to know your destination and the corresponding pier. You can jump on the frequently traveling boat and arrive quickly! Although there is no air conditioning, it is quite comfortable to feel the breeze on the river. When we saw a restaurant on the shore nearby, we got off the boat to try the boat noodles and Thai minced meat rice. They tasted very authentic and the price was reasonable!

Here are some of the specialties at the four main piers (Sathon, Din Daeng, Ratchawong and Worachanyawas Temple):

✨Tha Sathon Pier (Taksin)
Must-try dishes at Sathorn Pier include coffee at Sarnies Bangkok; pad Thai at Baan Phadthai; Thai desserts at Boonsap; congee at Jok Prince Bang Rak; and volcanic fried mussels and oyster omelette at Thip Hoi Tod Phu Khao Fai.

✨Tha Ratchawong Pier
Try their steamed buns at Salapao Shanghai at Ratchawang Pier; dumplings at Khanom Cheep Ah Leung; tea and desserts at Yesterday’s Tea Rooms; chicken rice at Chu Phochana; duck noodles at Racha Guay Tiew Ped; chestnut ice cream at Ice Cream Khao Lat Nuury Ice, and more coffee and tea at Woodbrook.

✨Worachanyawas Temple Pier
From the Worachanyawas temple pier, head to Kua for Thai delicacies; dumplings at Tuang Dim Sum; pork trotter stewed with rice at Khao Kha Moo Charoen Krung 77/1; noodles at Guay Tiew Khun R; Chinese noodles at Cantonese Noodle 2451; coffee, tea and desserts at Choux We Do Bakery, and more desserts at Mr. Q Taiwanese Dessert.

✨Tha Din Daeng Pier
Try fresh milk and toast and a variety of Thai egg tarts at Nomsod Tha Din Daeng at Din Daeng Pier; a bowl of rice noodle soup at Guay Jub Jeh Lha; pork satay with Thai style and peanut sauce at Tee Moo Satay; fresh spring rolls at Por Pia Sod Hea Chai, and rice with pork sauce at Khao Phra Ram Long Song Tha Din Daeng.

Other food stalls and restaurant signature dishes worth trying include fish porridge at Khao Tom Pla Nai Hor; steamed rice rolls at Guay Tiew Lord Song Khreang; pork leg stewed with rice at Khao Kha Moo IMF; and Thai desserts at Khanom Wan Bok Kia.
