From Vientiane to Vang Vieng and the final destination, Luang Prabang

Some trips leave us with nothing but a desire to escape the hustle and bustle...
And "Northern Laos" unknowingly became the answer. 🕊️

📍 Day 1: Bangkok – Vientiane – Muang Phueng
Departure on AirAsia flight FD1040 from Don Mueang
Heading to Vientiane

Late afternoon, the bus took us to Muang Phueng, a small town surrounded by mountains and the tranquil Nam Tong Reservoir.
Tonight, we stayed at "Ang Nam Tong" — a small village nestled in nature with a light mist floating above the water's surface. 💧

📍 Day 2: Muang Phueng – Vang Vieng
A new morning filled with mountain views and the sound of roosters crowing.
Departure for Vang Vieng Stop by Wat Sin Chaiyaram before embarking on a delightful half-day trip.
Colorful hot air balloons float above the rice paddies and crystal-clear water flows past wooden houses in the valley.
Tonight, stay at "Vangvieng Angsavanh," a warmly designed accommodation amidst mountain views.

📍 Day 3: Vang Vieng – Luang Prabang 🚆
Take the high-speed train from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang. It's a short ride, but the views are worth millions.
For lunch, enjoy dessert at the chic "Formula B Cafe."
In the afternoon, visit That Phousi and the Royal Palace in Luang Prabang before checking into "Jasmine Hotel."
In the evening, stroll through the night market, illuminated by the warm lights and abundant local produce—so charming you won't want to leave.

📍 Day 4: Luang Prabang – Vientiane
Wake up early to offer sticky rice alms to monks—a simple yet beautiful tradition. 🍚
Stop by the city's local coffee shop, then visit Wat Xieng Thong, Kuang Si Waterfall, and Wat Sisaket.
Before boarding the afternoon train back to Vientiane

📍 Day 5: Vientiane – Bangkok ✈️
Finish with breakfast at a local cafe, the atmosphere so inviting you'll want to freeze time.
Then return to Bangkok with tender memories in your heart.
