🌼The National Museum of Luang Prabang or the Royal Palace has been converted into the Royal Museum. It is used as a museum to display antiques and valuables such as ancient royal utensils, thrones, pulpits, royal regalia, Buddha statues, and antiques, as well as gifts from various countries. It was designed by a French architect. The front that looks like a church is the Phra Bang shrine, the city pillar of Luang Prabang and the origin of the city's name. It is made of 90% pure gold, but photography is prohibited.
Note: Photography is prohibited inside the museum. We can take photos outside.
🌼Admission fee: 30,000 kip. Open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
🧡Location: Opposite Phousi Stupa. In the evening, the street in front of the museum turns into a long night market.
