To Luang Prabang and Vientiane in Laos.
It is a country with a laid-back atmosphere.
In Luang Prabang, I was able to see begging from the morning. I was happy to see a sight that I can't see in Japan. I was also shown the Kuang Si Falls, which had so much water that it was very impressive. And the juice I drank at the night market was made on the spot, very delicious, and I was happy that the staff served me with a smile.
In Vientiane, the Patuxai, a monumental triumphal arch, stood majestically, creating a magnificent landscape. Also, in the evening, a small amusement park appeared along the river, giving me a nostalgic and Showa-era atmosphere.
Laos has a Showa-era atmosphere and you can spend your time there in a very relaxed and calm atmosphere. There aren't that many tourists, and urbanization is not as advanced as other Southeast Asian countries, so if you want to feel nostalgic, I recommend Laos.
