🚗It only takes a short two-hour drive from Wuhan to reach this hidden gem in Sanliping, Luotian, Huanggang—Zanzishi Village, which is also known as the "First Village of Sweet Persimmons in China"! In this quaint village, the golden persimmons on the distant mountains hang like little lanterns on the branches, clustered and scattered, showing the full charm of autumn.

🏃Travel tips:
✅Persimmons in the village square are CNY 6 per jin, while those on the mountain are CNY 5 per jin. If you buy a lot, you can experience the fun of picking persimmons. The villagers are very simple and honest, and will give you persimmons to eat. If you want persimmons with branches, they will help you pick them.
✅There are roads and trails in the village, and a shuttle bus at the entrance. If you drive, you can drive directly to the viewing platform on the mountain, or you can walk along the trail to the ancient persimmon forest. It's very convenient!
✅The village is well planned, with beautiful scenery at every step. There are many unique painted check-in points along the way, including wooden house walkways, sweet persimmon museums, campsites, and persimmon forest homestays. You can buy milk tea and coffee in the scenic area, so you can spend a whole day here.
✅The persimmon forest in the village is dense, with more than 5,000 trees, and the core ancient persimmon forest area is full of old persimmon trees, some of which are 400 or 500 years old. It's a great place for photography.
✅This is a great place for a weekend trip with kids or friends. You can play with your kids during the day, have a special hot pot in the evening, and return to Wuhan at night.
✅Finally, the persimmons are really delicious, crispy and sweet. I couldn't resist buying 10 jin to eat and give to friends.
💌Final tip: The best time to visit is from late October to mid-to-late November, when the persimmons are ripe and Zanzishi Village is at its most beautiful. The International Sweet Persimmon Festival is currently underway, attracting many domestic and foreign tourists.
