Today I went to Zanzi Stone Village to see the golden persimmons! Looking forward to more good persimmons this year 😌 Here’s a real experience for everyone:
🍁 Zanzi Stone Village, known as "China's Number One Sweet Persimmon Village"! 📍 Huanggang City · Luotian Town, 150km from Wuhan
After entering the village, you can see the "Persimmon Pastoral Song" scenic area. The scenic area is free. Once inside, you can follow the "Study Trail" all the way up, encountering black goats, cows, ducks, and other animals along the way. The visit takes about 2-3 hours.
🚶 Route reference: "China's Number One Sweet Persimmon Village" archway ➡️ Lianxin Bridge ➡️ Folk Experience Street ➡️ Yangyang Persimmon Market ➡️ Sweet Persimmon Tree King ➡️ Sweet Persimmon Natural Museum ➡️ Wooden Cabin Homestay
⚠️ Some tips: ❶ Persimmons are 4 yuan per jin, the kind with a crispy texture, very delicious! ❷ Chestnuts are 5 yuan per jin, Luotian chestnuts are famous enough that I don’t need to say more ❸ If you bring a long pole that can knock down persimmons, you can get free persimmons by your own skill
—————————————————— I left before 9 a.m., had an affordable and tasty Luotian hot pot at 11 a.m. in Luotian, and arrived at Zanzi Stone Village at 2 p.m. 😅
Why so late!!
It turned out that when I was 4.5 km from the scenic area, it showed that there was a 1 hour 20 minute traffic jam ahead before reaching the destination, which made me feel dizzy 😵💫
About 2 km from the village, there were many traffic control personnel who asked you to park nearby and take a free shuttle bus in. But later we saw private cars driving in, and after asking, we just drove straight into the village (this measure is probably dynamically controlled; when there are fewer people, they let you drive in)
If you go on a weekend, it’s recommended to leave before 8 a.m.!
