Macau Governor's Souvenir Street 🛍️

#Macau Attractions

Guan Ye Street is located in the center of Taipa, Macau. The origin of Guan Ye Street is to commemorate the 81st Governor-General of Macau 🏅

In 1983, Guanye Street was opened as a pedestrian zone. Guanye Street is 150 meters long and 5 meters wide. At the same time, Guan Ye Street was also the first pedestrian zone in Macau, implemented on June 1, 1983.

It intersects with Shi Tuk Hun Main Street in the south and Shilihua Street in Gaoli in a T-shape, and Bunker Street and the Fire Station Front in the north in a T-shape.

As souvenir shops, traditional gift cakes, snack shops and specialty dessert shops are concentrated on this street, many tourists enjoy the food here and in Bunker Street, which has since become a must-visit area for tourists visiting Taipa.

Every time I visit Macau, I also visit Guan Ye Street. It feels like there are more people than before the epidemic; and beef jerky snack shops, specialty boutiques and cultural and creative shops have also increased a lot, no wonder the flow of people has increased 🤔
