🗺️ Itinerary Highlights:
Start with the iconic Parent & Child Tree (Mita, Biei), open all day year-round. Park nearby and snap dreamy photos under the frosted branches—best angles: frame both trees against the endless white hills for ‘insta-worthy’ charm.
Next, head to Shirahige Waterfall (Shirogane, Biei), also open 24/7. It’s especially stunning in winter; the cascades look surreal against icy blue rocks. The bridge overlooks offer the top photo spot—try sunrise or sunset for magical lighting!
Wrap up at Ningle Terrace (Nakagoryo, Furano), a forest enclave of artisan cottages. From Nov 29–Mar 31, visit between 12:00-20:45 for twinkling lights and handmade treasures—perfect for cozy shopping or sipping hot chocolate at night. Capture beautiful shots beneath snow-dusted rooftops and lantern-lit walkways.

🧭 Personal Tips:
Rent a car and drive carefully—snowy roads are slippery, so allow for slower speeds and check tire chains if needed. Keep snacks and a thermos in the car, as local dining options can be limited en route.

⚠️ Precautions:
Weather changes quickly—pack warm layers and waterproof boots. Some rural roads may get icy; monitor road conditions frequently and map out nearby gas stations. Ningle Terrace is closed from Nov 3–Nov 28, so plan accordingly.
