A Walk Through the Lights of the Peter V Theatre

Early in the morning, I arrived in Macau by ferry, and the multicultural atmosphere of this city hit me. The first stop is the Peter V Theatre. This theatre, which was built in the 19th century, has witnessed the glorious history of Macau. As you enter the theater, you are greeted by a strong classical atmosphere: high ceilings, exquisite carved wooden doors, and ancient stage facilities. I sat in the audience, closed my eyes, and seemed to hear a concert from a hundred years ago. The area in front of Gangding outside the theater is full of life. The rich aroma of coffee wafting from the small cafes on the street gives people a nostalgic romance. In the evening, when the lights come on, I take a walk in the square and feel the gentle pulse of the city.
