It is famous both at home and abroad for its unique scientific domestication, giant panda reproductive physiology research, interspecies cloning giant panda experiments, and supporting science education facilities for young people.
Panda World consists of ten parts: the Giant Panda Pavilion , the Red Panda Pavilion , the Bear Exhibition Area , the Panda Museum , the Panda Cinema , the Panda Art Gallery , the Mengshan Butterfly Ecological Zone , the National Treasure Guardian Garden , the Children 's Playground , and the Guling Panda Villa, which is 25 kilometers away from the city center and 1,000 meters above sea level .
It houses the world's rare species - the giant panda, as well as bears and raccoons related to the study of the giant panda's taxonomic status, as well as 22 species of resident and migratory birds from 13 families and 20 genera . It is the only giant panda ex situ conservation park on the southeast coast of China, apart from the capital Beijing and the origin Sichuan, that integrates scientific research, popular science education, and tourism.
