Strolling around the Ruins of St. Paul's, the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary exudes elegance and tranquility amid the bustling streets. As you approach this centuries-old church, the Baroque yellow exterior walls sparkle in the sun, softly reflecting the warmth of time. Pushing open the heavy wooden door, a solemn and quiet atmosphere hits you. The wooden pews inside the church are neatly arranged, and the vaulted ceiling is soaring yet warm, making people feel safe. The most eye-catching is the altar in the center. The pure white and gold decorations set off the statue of the Virgin Mary, emitting a holy light. The patterns on the stained glass windows reflect fragments of biblical stories. Under the sunlight, colorful light and shadows are cast on the ground, as if you are in a sacred dream. Sitting on the bench, I closed my eyes and listened to a melodious hymn, feeling the peace and cleansing of my soul. Our Lady of the Rosary Church is not only a church, but also a quiet place where people can escape from the hustle and bustle of the world and return to their inner selves. When I walked out of the church, my heart was filled with warmth and emotion. The rose-like fragrance seemed to quietly seep into my heart and linger for a long time.
