Macau🇲🇴 - World Cultural Heritage Church of Our Lady of the Rosary

The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary was founded in 1587 and is the first Dominican church in China. It has a history of more than 400 years. The Church is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary. The relics treasury in the church contains more than 300 precious Catholic cultural relics. At first, the church was built with wooden planks, which the Chinese called Banzhang Temple. Later, it was built with masonry and cement and repaired many times to achieve its current scale.

The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary is located in the center of Macau, close to the Lu Family House and the Cathedral. Its Baroque architectural features are particularly eye-catching among the many buildings. The church building is three stories high, with the main hall and double side doors as the main elements. It has a goose-yellow color. The color appearance is soft and delicate, just like the radiance of the Virgin Mary's love. It has become one of the tourist attractions where many tourists come to take pictures, and it is also one of the ancient cultural relics of Macau's World Heritage.
