Passing through the alleys of Macau's old town, St. Anthony's Church is quietly hidden among the green shades, like a contemplative elder, whispering the history and stories of the past. This church is one of the oldest Catholic churches in Macau. Since its establishment in the 16th century, it has witnessed the vicissitudes and prosperity of this land. The exterior walls of the church are mainly off-white, and the simple design reveals a sense of history. The stone steps in front of the door are a bit worn, but it is these traces that tell us that countless believers have prayed silently here. Walking into the hall, although the space is not spacious, it is filled with a sense of tranquility and solemnity.
