The Royal Hotel is located on the Macau Peninsula near the Songshan Lighthouse, with many local restaurants and parks nearby. Although it is not the newest hotel, the facilities are well maintained and the overall hotel is clean. The front desk staff spoke fluent Chinese and check-in was very quick.
The room is small but well-equipped, the bed is very comfortable and I had a good night's rest. The bathroom is a little small but clean and tidy, with a bathtub for bathing. The Chinese restaurant inside the hotel is delicious. We had congee and dim sum at reasonable prices.
It’s only a few minutes’ walk to the Songshan Cable Car and Lighthouse, which is a pleasant walk during the day. This hotel is suitable for independent travelers and those who do not pursue luxury but pay attention to cleanliness and convenient transportation. As a mid-priced option, the CP value is quite high.
