Morpheus Hotel in Macau｜A Romantic Dream at the Sky Pool on the 40th Floor

My first visit to Macau and I was absolutely blown away by the Morpheus Hotel! I've been dreaming about that open-air sky pool on the 40th floor, but unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to check it out yet. My anticipation is through the roof!

🏙️ A Purely Futuristic Architectural Marvel

Designed by Zaha Hadid, the Morpheus Hotel is a striking sight even from the airport road! With 28,000 tons of steel structure—four times the weight of the Eiffel Tower—it’s truly a miracle of engineering! Inside the rooms, there’s a construction booklet hiding a romantic secret: the design was inspired by a Chinese jade pendant! The two towers are intertwined with steel structures, resembling the number "8" from afar, symbolizing good fortune, while up close, the smooth curves look as if time has softened their edges.

💫 A Sci-Fi Vibe at the Sky Pool

The most stunning feature is the open-air pool at the top! Suspended 130 meters above ground, it’s a blue oasis amidst the concrete jungle, straight out of a sci-fi novel. Imagine swimming here, with the city traffic below your feet and the vast sky above your head—every snapshot would look like a scene from a futuristic movie!

Even though I haven’t taken a dip yet, just looking at it has me completely captivated! I hope to fulfill this dream before I leave, and when I do, I’ll definitely share the joy of this high-altitude swim with you all!
