Golden Island Hotel: A place worth revisiting

I visit Macau almost every month and always choose different hotels to stay in. This time, I picked Golden Island because of the great reviews about its stunning views. 😍

After booking, I read some reviews online mentioning poor soundproofing, which made me a bit worried. Luckily, we didn’t book a connecting room and chose a high-floor room far from the elevator, so we didn’t encounter any noise issues.

As soon as we entered the room, we felt very comfortable. The curtains automatically opened, revealing the breathtaking view that immediately captivated us. 😍 We even left the curtains open while sleeping, and waking up to the view the next morning made us feel refreshed and energized. My boyfriend instantly suggested staying another night, but unfortunately, we both had to return to work.

The hotel has an infinity pool that’s perfect for taking photos, but we didn’t go swimming, so we didn’t take any pictures. The buffet breakfast was decent—not as extensive as some newer hotels—but I personally enjoy having a buffet breakfast right after waking up because it saves me the trouble of deciding what to eat. 🤣 Overall, I was satisfied.

Additionally, there’s a sushi restaurant called Fish One located downstairs, which closes at 10:00 PM. It’s convenient and delicious. ☺️☺️☺️
