Prado Museum: Why No Photos?! 🤔📸

Phew, it was way too hot this afternoon, so I ducked into the Prado Museum! 🏛️ Grabbed my ticket easily on Trip.com, but wow, it was absolutely packed inside! The collection is seriously incredible and so rich with masterpieces.

I got lucky though – I actually managed to snap a few photos before someone told me no pictures were allowed! So I pieced together what I could, but sadly, I couldn't capture many of the works I loved on the second floor. 😩

It got me thinking... I've visited so many museums across Europe – the Louvre, the Vatican Museums, even the Picasso Museum (which I just visited!) – and you can photograph freely there. As long as you don't use a flash, it really shouldn't harm the artwork, right? So, why the strict "no photos" rule at the Prado? It's the only major one I've encountered that doesn't allow it!
