💚 Pang Ung or “Pang Tong 2 Royal Project” is one of the most popular destinations for nature lovers. Amidst the two-leaf pine forest and a quiet lake, the word “Pang” means accommodation for forest workers, while “Ung” means lowland. Together, the meaning is “accommodation by the reservoir”, which clearly reflects the image of this place.

The houses are located on the dam, near the rafting point but quite far from the tent site. It is recommended to take a car to get there, which is more convenient.

🍢 There are shops and local food stalls along the tent site, such as grilled chicken, som tam, and moo krata, serving delicious food in the cool air. It’s so satisfying that you won’t want to get up from your table.

🛶 A highlight not to be missed! Bamboo rafting in the middle of the lake in the morning, watching the mist floating slowly above the water. Super romantic atmosphere, 1 raft can seat 2 people (including 3 paddlers), the price is around 150 baht, the rafting takes about 25-30 minutes.
