Review of Rak Thai Village, Mae Hong Son

In December 2024, we visited Rak Thai Village in Mae Hong Son. The village has a charming Chinese-style atmosphere with stunning views of green tea plantations. The weather was perfect during our visit, especially in the mornings when the mist rolled in, creating an incredibly serene experience.

We stayed at Lee Wine Rak Thai Resort, which was excellent. The accommodations were comfortable, the service was great, and the views were breathtaking. The room we booked could accommodate 4-8 people.

In the evening, we dined at a Yunnan-style Chinese restaurant located near the resort. The food was delicious, and the must-try dishes are the braised pork leg with fried mantou. If you're in the mood for barbecue, there are several restaurants offering it around the lake.

Interesting activities:
- Dressing up in traditional Chinese attire for photos
- Boating
- Cycling around the village
