Those planning a trip to Mae Sai, Chiang Rai, must consider Orasa Coffee @ Orasa Hotel, Mae Sai Border Checkpoint ✨
When talking about cafes in Mae Sai, many people might think of chill spots for a break while strolling through the border markets. But another place I'd absolutely recommend is Orasa Coffee, also known as Orasa Cafe & Bar. Located within the Orasa Hotel, this prime location in the heart of Mae Sai, right next to the Thai-Myanmar border checkpoint, boasts a location, atmosphere, and a view of the border town and Doi Wao Market. The menu is absolutely comprehensive.
The drinks and dessert menu here is comprehensive, starting with high-quality coffee, offering a full selection of classic and signature items, including lattes, cappuccinos, and Americanos. The aroma and richness of the flavors are impressive.
In the evening, the atmosphere becomes even more exciting with the cafe bar, serving cocktails, beers, and snacks like mala skewers, sun-dried beef, fried squid, and other spicy northern-style dishes. The chicken curry is another dish that many recommend. The prices are also reasonable. Coffee starts at around 55–60 baht, and specialty drinks like a large pitcher of Singha draft beer are just 199 baht. It's a great way to enjoy a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.
Location: Orasa Hotel Mae Sai 📍
Open daily from 8:00 AM to midnight.
