The Yangtze River Guanyin Scenic Area, located in Nanjing's Mufu Riverside Scenic Belt, is the first scenic area along China's Yangtze River dedicated to Guanyin culture. The area is divided into two parts, with the Chengbei Water Plant as the dividing line, and the east and west districts, which together comprise eight sections.

The scenic area currently houses over ten incarnations of Guanyin, each unique and representing various aspirations. Numerous sculptures, cliff carvings, and Buddhist murals are interspersed throughout the site, showcasing China's millennia-old Guanyin culture.

The pavilion houses the scenic area's most treasured treasures: three thousand-year - old ebony statues of Guanyin. Ebony, a sacred tree in China, has been growing in the soil for 500 years, then on the ground for another 500 years, thus growing for a thousand years. The three Guanyin statues, Ruyi Guanyin, Weide Guanyin, and Dabei Guanyin, symbolize good fortune and prosperity, and bless the family with peace and everlasting happiness.
