A Memorable Family Holiday at JA Manafaru

Choosing to visit JA Manafaru was the best decision for me (17) and my family. For 40 years， visiting the Maldives has been my mum's dream， and it soon became mine too. This year seemed perfect as we're celebrating many family milestones: my upcoming 18th birthday， my parents' 20th anniversary， my mum’s birthday， and my transition to university! After extensive research， my mum and I settled on JA Manafaru. The glowing reviews and their engaging social media presence heightened our anticipation， and the resort surpassed our lofty expectations. Upon arrival， we were driven to the seaplane lounge and swiftly directed to the resort via seaplane. Don't be deterred by the lengthy ride; it's absolutely worth it! At JA， we were warmly welcomed by our thakuru Rizam and the staff. Rizam gave us a brief island tour， already arranged dinner， and showed us to our room. We opted for a sunset water villa (526); the resort accommodated our celebratory requests， including an extra sun lounger. The villa was immaculate and stunning—the sunsets were gorgeous， and the plunge pool was delightful for swimming. My fisherman dad loved admiring the fish， while my mum and I ventured into snorkelling， quickly getting the hang of it amidst the vibrant corals and fish. Kudos to our villa attendant for maintaining its pristine condition! The food was divine， with ample choices. Despite being cautious with food， I tried new dishes on holiday and loved them all. Sampling each restaurant and theme night is a must as they cater to all tastes. Experiencing the sunset dolphin cruise and fishing were extraordinary moments—we saw countless dolphins， captured beautifully on video by attentive staff. Our fishing efforts were rewarded with lovely catches against a stunning sunset backdrop. Special thanks to Rizam， who orchestrated delightful surprises for my 18th birthday and my parents' anniversary. He arranged a floating breakfast， decorated our beds， and organized festive cakes and candlelit tables， enriching our experience. We're already planning a future visit to JA Manafaru!
