Golden Palace Monastery or Shwenandaw Palace

This is an old palace built entirely of teak wood, a truly beautiful architecture in the style of Burmese art. This place was also the residence of King Mindon, the creator of the Mandalay Palace, which is known as the last palace of the Burmese dynasty.

Shwenandaw Palace is still part of the palace that remains after World War II, making this place of great spiritual value to the locals due to its historical value.
