🚘: Starting from Chengdu, it takes about 4 hours to drive to Songpinggou.
🎉 After arriving at the visitor center, you need to buy a sightseeing bus ticket. The bus will take visitors to the highest point of the scenic area, Changhai, and then stop by each spot on the way down.
🚶🏻🚶🏻🚶🏻 For those who love hiking, you can buy a one-way sightseeing bus ticket, first take the bus to the highest point Changhai, then hike down. The whole hiking distance is about 8 kilometers, all on wooden boardwalks, and it’s downhill, so the hiking difficulty is not high.

❤️ Tips:
🏔️ The main scenic spots in Songpinggou are at an altitude of about 2300-2800 meters, so altitude sickness is basically not an issue.
🧥 There is a big temperature difference on the mountain. You can wear autumn clothes for photos, but it’s best to bring a down jacket to wear when not taking pictures.
🏠 At night, we stayed at Yunshangyue in Diexi Town (pic 17). Songpinggou to Diexi Town is about 13 km, a 25-minute drive. It’s not only close but also has outdoor hot springs. After a day of walking, soaking in the hot springs is perfect to relax and refresh. At night, we also saw the intangible cultural heritage iron flower performance, which was amazing.
🔆 On the second day, you can explore Diexi Town, which has an ancient city wall, ancient Qiang village, Dianjiang Platform, and Diexi Haizi viewing platform to visit.
🍎 This area is also famous for apples, with many apple orchards. We experienced picking apples on-site; they were big and sweet. You can pick whichever you want, and the ones you pick yourself taste especially good.
💕 This two-day, one-night trip to Songpinggou was really satisfying—tiring but fulfilling. The best part is that I got beautiful photos, haha totally worth it 🙂
