Is Yosemite the most beautiful national park in the world?

The USA is home to some of the most sprawling national parks in the world. The scenery that you can enjoy in these parks is nothing short of spectacular. But I have a feeling that this one might just be the cherry on top of the cake.

This is Yosemite, located in the north of California. Once you enter the park, you’re treated to awe-inspiring vistas on mountains, forests, lakes and waterfalls. It’s like stepping into paradise and there’s no limit to the beauty on show.

If you’ve only got a day to explore the National Park - which to be honest, is nowhere near enough - then there are a things that must be prioritised. Check out the imposing half dome, quite literally a mountain that has been split in two - thought to have occurred when a glacier ripped through the area. Then there’s El Capitan, where you can watch rock climbers try to scale the behemoth that is its almost vertical cliff face.

You’ve also got to check out at least one of the stunning waterfalls contained within Yosemite. I chose to head up close to Bridalveil Falls, one of the most prominent waterfalls located here.

In short, no trip to Yosemite will ever be disappointment. The only mistake you can make is not giving enough time to explore this sprawling wilderness!
