Yosemite National Park

The harmonious blend of all natural elements—waterfalls, forests, and the sound of a stream flowing between rocky cliffs—under the midday sun in Yosemite National Park still lingers deeply in my memory. Standing before massive granite cliffs like El Capitan or Half Dome, I felt a sense of insignificance, yet at the same time, the comfort and awe that nature offers.
Moreover, venturing out of the valley and onto lesser-known trails allowed for a more immersive experience, with fewer tourists. Trekking in the morning or late afternoon was much more pleasant than in the harsh midday sun. Resting by the occasionally flowing stream and picnicking with simple food brought from the city brought me peace of mind, and I felt like I could enjoy these simple moments more if I had the travel grant.
