Lost in El Badi Palace – Marrakech 🏰✨

The first time I visited El Badi Palace in Marrakech, I was like, "Wow, this place is truly magnificent!" Although it's now in ruins, just walking through its gates evokes the grandeur of its past. The vast central courtyard, surrounded by a long pond and orange groves, evokes the image of a time when this palace was once a luxurious palace.

As I walked, I took my time, stopping to admire the old walls, filled with stork nests. The sound of the birds swooping around was incredibly peaceful. Then, I visited the small museum inside, which houses the ancient minbar of the Koutoubia Mosque. The woodcarvings are so intricate, you'll want to stand and gaze at them for hours.

My favorite part was climbing to the top of the palace. From there, I could see a panoramic view of Marrakech, both the palace walls and the city, their distinctive orange hues. The photos were stunning.

I spent about an hour or so, walking around every corner, taking it easy, taking photos, and enjoying the afternoon sunlight. If you enjoy listening to history, I recommend hiring a commentary or a guide. You'll get to see a lot of hidden details.
