Shimane * Fortune telling at Yaegaki Shrine, a shrine for matchmaking, and Kagami-no-ike pond

I walked a long way from Kamitamashi Shrine!
It's been about 10 years since I last visited Yaegaki Shrine✨
Relying on my fading memories⁉️, I headed into the shrine grounds.
The deities worshipped are Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Inadahime-no-Mikoto.
They became husband and wife after defeating the Yamata no Orochi.
In order to defeat the Yamata no Orochi, a double fence was built in Sakusame-no-Mori, where Kagami-no-Ike pond is located, as a hiding place for Inadahime-no-Mikoto.
You can have your fortune told🔮 at this Kagami-no-Ike pond🪞.
You can get a fortune telling paper at the shrine office.
After floating the paper in the pond, gently place a 10 yen or 100 yen coin on top. If it falls within 15 minutes, it will be a quick connection, if it falls more than 30 minutes, it will be a slow connection.
If it sinks near the front, it will be a close connection, if it sinks far back, it will be a distant relative.
The letters that appear on the paper are quite specific🙌
By the way, I was surprised at how quickly I sank! ️I didn't have time to take a video of me sinking😅
It seems that those who don't sink really don't sink.
There was a fortune-telling paper that just kept floating.
(There was no one around, so I'm sure that's the case)
There are also two married cedar trees and three married camellia trees in the precincts. I think that married camellia trees are a bit unusual. The three trees are in different places, so please try to find them!
Yaegaki Shrine has several shrines within the precincts, but there is also Akamichi Shrine, which enshrines Inadahime's father god, and Temachi Shrine, which enshrines Inadahime's mother god, so I recommend visiting them together.
