Yohashira-jinja Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the heart of Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Established in 1874 during the Meiji era, its name "Yohashira" translates to "Four Pillars," as it is one of the rare shrines in Japan enshrining four Shinto deities:
• Ame-no-Minakanushi-no-Kami – The god of prosperity and recovery from illness
• Takamimusubi-no-Kami and Kamimusubi-no-Kami – Gods of fortune, health, longevity, and love
• Amaterasu Omikami – The goddess of national peace, agriculture, industry, health, and wish fulfillment
Due to its unique characteristics, Yohashira-jinja Shrine is renowned as the "Shrine of Wish Fulfillment" and is considered a significant power spot in the area.
🌸 Atmosphere and Location
The shrine is situated near Nawate Street and the Metoba River, a charming shopping district filled with traditional shops. In spring, the shrine is surrounded by blooming cherry blossoms, while in autumn, the foliage transforms into vibrant colors, making it a popular spot for viewing seasonal changes.

🎉 Festivals and Events
Every year from October 1st to 3rd, the shrine hosts the "Shinto-sai" festival, featuring traditional wooden float parades (butai) and numerous food stalls around the shrine.
