For those who dream of waking up to a view of mountains and a clear river flowing through the window, don't miss Gosenjaku Hotel in Kamikochi. ⛰️ This hotel is located right at Kappa Bridge. The view from the room is postcard-quality! No need to go far, just open the curtains and it's so beautiful you can't speak. 🏞️☘️
This place is famous for being very difficult to book, especially during the autumn leaves or spring. You have to book several months in advance, but I must say that it's worth the wait. 📆✨
The rooms are clean, comfortable, with a million-dollar view and a must-see photo spot! 💫 The balcony in the Western twin room or suite offers a full view of the mountains and river. ✨ The old Japanese-style wooden lobby is surrounded by nature, perfect for holding a coffee and posting a relaxing post. 🍽 The food is very good, focusing on quality. 🍱 Dinner under the concept of "Gosenjaku Cuisine" where the chef uses local ingredients and applies French rustic style. 🍲 Hot breakfast with "Tonjiru", Japanese-style pork miso soup. 🚶♂️ Location & travel is at 4468 Azumi, Kamikochi, Matsumoto, Nagano, about 90 minutes from Matsumoto by car + bus, then walk for about 10 minutes to the hotel. 📌 Driving yourself into Kamikochi is not allowed. You have to park outside and walk or take a bus / taxi as a standard.
