I recently visited Matsumoto, and I was completely won over by its charm! You're so right—it really is a city full of cute and artistic corners.

I absolutely couldn't miss the Yayoi Kusama exhibition at the Matsumoto City Museum of Art. As Kusama's hometown, her iconic polka-dot art is everywhere. The giant pumpkin sculpture at the entrance and the exhibition itself made me feel like I had stepped into a vibrant, imaginative world. No matter your age, seeing her playful works just makes you feel so happy.

🌸 Discovering the City's Charm

Beyond the museum, I found Matsumoto to be a city worth exploring. The old streets, small alleys, and even the street-side sculptures all have a unique Japanese cuteness. I loved walking around and discovering all the small, exquisite details. The whole atmosphere felt so leisurely and healing—it’s a place where "life is beautiful, and everything is cute."
